Squad Check Privacy Policy

Account info: your name and email address.

Phone number: to send you reminder messages by SMS and/or WhatsApp.

Timezone: to send reminders at the correct local time.

Reminder content: the titles, times, and details of the reminders you create.

Message history: your conversations with your chosen personas, retained for up to 30 days.

Payment info: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

To deliver the reminder and check-in messages you request, in the persona voice you choose.

To process subscription payments.

To generate personalized persona messages using a third-party AI provider.

To operate, maintain, and improve the service.

When you sign up, you provide express consent to receive reminder and check-in text messages from Squad Check. Message frequency varies based on the reminders you set. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help.

No mobile information (including your phone number and text messaging opt-in/consent data) will be shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for any purpose.

We share information only as needed to run the service, with:

Twilio — to deliver SMS and WhatsApp messages.

Stripe — to process payments.

Our AI provider — to generate persona messages.

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

We retain conversation history for up to 30 days. We keep account and reminder data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Contact).

Opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP.

Request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.

Close your account at any time.

Squad Check is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date.
